## What Maps is good for

| Question                                           | How Maps helps                               |
| -------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| Which members are in an area affected by flooding? | Member Map shows who is in the affected zone |
| Can we staff a referral in this area? | Employee Map shows who lives nearby |
| Is our service area realistic? | Comparing both maps reveals gaps |
| Why is travel time so high? | Mismatched member and staff distribution |

<Tip>
  During a developing weather event, the Member Map is the fastest way to identify who needs early
  contact. See [Readiness](/emergency/readiness).

## Troubleshooting

| Problem                             | What to check                                                                                                        |
| ----------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Members are missing from the map | Their address may be incomplete in [Members](/members). |
| A member appears in the wrong place | The address on their record is wrong. This also causes EVV geofence failures — see [Time & Attendance](/attendance). |
| The map looks empty | Check your active organization and location. |
| Employees are missing | Their address may not be recorded in [Employees](/employees). |
