Adding a document
1
Choose the right tab
Policies go in Policies, contracts in Business Documents, everything else in
Documents. The tab decides which fields you get.
2
Set effective and expiry dates
Expiry drives the alerts that warn you before a document lapses. A document with no expiry date
never warns you.
3
Record approval
Set the approval status once the document has been signed off. Surveyors check approval, not
just existence.
4
Set the next review date
On policies, Next Review keeps the document in your review cycle.
