Employees holds your staff roster, credentials, background checks, training and recognition. Everything that decides whether someone can be assigned to a member lives here.

Who can use it

Organization Admins, Location Admins, Clinical Managers, and Human Resources staff.

The Employees tab

Employee roster with position, department, employment status, and hire dates. Columns: First Name · Last Name · Position · Department · Status · Hired · Active · Email Active is what other modules check. An inactive employee should not appear as an assignable attendant in Scheduling.

Adding an employee

1

Create the roster record

Add the employee with position, department, and hire date.
2

Run background checks

Screening must be complete before the employee delivers care. See Credentials and checks.
3

Record credentials

Licences and certifications, with expiry dates so lapses surface early.
4

Complete orientation and health records

New hire orientation and TB screening are both prerequisites to assignment.
5

Assign to members

Only then set up work assignments and schedules.
The full walkthrough is in Credentialing a caregiver.
The Dashboard surfaces Expiring in 7 Days and OIG Flags. Checking it each morning catches credentialing problems before a scheduler hits them.
